Features	Dual Scale Detects 6% to 44% moisture content in wood with ± 2% accuracy. Detects 0.2% to 4% moisture content in other materials with ± 0.4% accuracy. Easy single-button operation. Rugged cap shields measuring electrodes from accidental damage while not in use. Unit automatically powers off when not in use to extend battery life. Built-in self-test feature guarantees uniform and consistent measurements.
Uses	The DampFinder is a moisture testing device for the homeowner wanting to quickly determine the dryness of firewood before purchasing or the contractor that needs to ensure that building materials haven't been exposed to excessive moisture. Simply press the electrode points into the material in question and the moisture level is displayed immediately on the LCD bar display. This unit can be used to test the moisture content of a wide range of materials including soft materials such as gypsum, plaster or sheetrock as well as more rigid materials such as wood or masonry.
